NASA to Launch 3D Printer Into Space

 

NASA said it will be sending a Space X 3D printer to the International Space Station on September 19.

It is the first time a 3D printer will be in space. NASA says it can operate without gravity.

With the 3D technology astronauts will be able to print replacement parts on long-term missions.
