Creators of Web Series Claim Seth MacFarlane Stole "Ted" Idea

Bengal Mangle Productions, the creators of a web series about a teddy bear named Charlie who lives in a human world, is suing Seth MacFarlane over his "Ted" movie.

"Charlie and Ted each have a substantially similar persona, verbal tone, verbal delivery, dialogue, and attitude," the suit claims.

Their teddy bear was reportedly featured on YouTube and FunnyOrDie.com before "Ted" hit theaters. MacFarlane and Universal Pictures have yet to comment on the lawsuit.
