Hip-Hop Mogul Chris Lighty Shoots Himself

Hip-hop mogul Chris Lighty, who managed stars like Sean "Diddy" Combs, Mariah Carey and 50 Cent, was tragically found dead in his appartment in New York City Thursday.

He apparently died of a self-inflicted gunshot to the head. Police found a 9mm handgun next to him.

The 44-year-old launched his own management company "Violator" after working for Russell Simmons´ company "Rush Management". He was in the midst a divorce and was having financial trouble.
