Turtle Found Taped to Helium-Filled Balloons
 

Authorities in Oceanside, California are looking for the person who taped a turtle to several helium-filled balloons and sent it flying.

The Humane Society and Fire Department were called and the animal could be rescued after it was caught in a tree.

According to the Humane Society, those responsible are likely to face animal abuse charges.

Probably just some little kids....

And I doubt they were doing it to hurt the animal... Honestly, ... it sounds like something my cousin and I might have done when we were 6-7 years old...

Obviously, an adult should certainly know better.. But at the same time, ... it´s just a freakin´ turtle.
