General Motors is recalling 249,260 midsize sport utility vehicles in the U.S. and Canada.
The recall covers 2006-2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer and GMC Envoy SUVs, certain 2007 Buick Rainier, Saab 9-7X and Isuzu Ascender SUVs.
According to the NHTSA, GM intends to fix short circuits and door locks that can cause fires.
