Director Tony Scott, best known for his movies "Top Gun", "Days of Thunder" and "Beverly Hills Cop II", jumped to death from a bridge in Los Angeles County Sunday.
His spokesman has confirmed the sad news. The body of 68-year-old Scott as well as a suicide note were found several hours after his death.
The British-born director was the brother of "Gladiator" and "Blade Runner" director Ridley Scott.
