Rihanna is too sexy to continue to represent Nivea, Stefan Heidenreich, the CEO of Nivea´s parent company Beiersdorf, said.
He told a German newspaper that the singer was "a no go". "I do not understand how to bring the core brand of Nivea in conjunction with Rihanna. Nivea is a company which stands for trust, family and reliability," Heidenreich told the press.
Rihanna was the face of Nivea 100th anniversary year and her song "California King Bed" was used in a Nivea ad. The company even sponsored her 2011 tour.
