Woman Arrested After Faking Labor Pains to Escape Police

An Ohio woman is facing several charges after police say she stole goods over a thousand dollars worth, threatened officers, faked labor pains and later escaped from the hospital.

When police tried to arrest Tamala Grissett, 29 she gave them a fake ID and said she threatened to kill one of the officers or file a false abuse complaint against him.

Later she told them that she had pregnancy complications and they took her to a nearby hospital where she was able to escape. She was captured soon afterward and taken to Hamilton County Justice Center.
