Watching Age-Appropriate TV Can Improve Your Child´s Sleep

A new study of kids ages 3 to 5 and their sleeping and TV watching habits show that those who only watch age-appropriate television are less likely to have sleep issues.

The 12-month study also proved that the sleep quality improves for preschoolers who started to watch programming more suitable for kids.

Inappropriate or violent content also includes cartoons "aimed at slightly older children", such as SpongeBob SquarePants and Scooby-Doo, says Michelle Garrison of Seattle´s Children´s Research Institute.
