Ohio Man Shoots Wife of 45 Years in Hospital Bed

A man of Akron, Ohio is charged with attempted aggravated murder after police said he entered the intensive care unit at Akron General Medical Center and shot his 65-year-old wife.

66-year-old John Wise and Barbara Wise have been married for 45 years. She had been admitted to the hospital a few days earlier with a life-threatening condition.

Barbara Wise survived the shooting but her condition is currently unknown.
