2012 Olympics: Murray Beats Federer for the Men´s Singles Tennis Gold


Andy Murray has claimed the gold medal at Wimbledon´s Center Court Sunday, beating Swiss Roger Federer 6-2, 6-1, 6-4.

"This is the biggest win of my career, that´s for sure. I was expecting an incredibly tough match because he´s made it so difficult on me. No way did I expect a score like that," the Brit said after the match.

Americans Serena and Venus Williams claimed the gold medal in the women´s doubles. Serena Williams also won in the women´s singles competition, defeating Maria Sharapova of Russia 6-0, 6-1.
