United Airlines is the first U.S. carrier to fly Boeing´s new 787 Dreamliner passenger plane. The airline showed off the first of its new Dreamliner fleet Tuesday when the plane rolled out of a hangar at Boeing´s facility.
The highly-anticipated 787 Dreamliner offers many technical innovations and United´s senior vice president thinks "it has been worth every bit of the wait".
United Airlines is expected to officially take delivery of its first 787 not until September. The airline has 50 Dreamliners on order.
