A 23-year-old man of Darwin, Australia has reportedly been hospitalized with injuries to his posterior and genital area after he put a firecracker between his buttocks and lit it.
"What must of (sic) seemed to be a great idea at the time has backfired, resulting in the male receiving quite severe and very painful burns to his cheeks, back and private bits," Senior Sergeant Garry Smith reports.
The young man, whose name was not made public, was later transferred to a specialist burns unit at the Royal Adelaide Hospital.
