Colorado Shooting: James Holmes Charged With 142 Counts

James Holmes, the Colorado movie theater massacre gunman, has been charged with 142 counts, 24 counts of first-degree murder and 116 counts of attempted murder.

The attack at a movie theater in Aurora left 12 people dead and 48 wounded. Shortly after the shooting, police found a package with descriptions of the attack.

Holmes sent the package to his psychiatrist at the university. His lawywers told the judge last week that he was getting mental treatment.
