Promising New Drug „Afinitor“ for Breast Cancer Approved by FDA

Afinitor, a new drug for women with a certain type of breast cancer, got the OK of the FDA.

These pills were previously sold in the U.S. for other types of cancer and are usually combined with another drug called "Aromasin".

Tests showed those treated with the two drugs lived significantly longer before their disease progressed.
