Feds Probing Jeep Grand Cherokees, Ram 1500 Pickups

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has opened investigations into more than 300,000 Chrysler vehicles.

106,803 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokees from model year 2012 are being investigated because of a possible fire risk. Furthermore, NHTSA has received several complaints about the rear wheels locking up on Ram 1500 pickups.

The automaker says customers who think their vehicle is affected should take it to their local dealer.
