Networks Pull "The Dark Knight Rises" Ads After Shooting

TV networks have canceled television advertising for "The Dark Knight Rises" following the shooting in Aurora, Colorado where at least 12 people were killed and 58 injured.

NBC, CBS and ESPN were among the broadcast and cable networks and TV stations that took the movie ads off the air.

Warner Bros. also reacted to the shooting by removing all gun references from the film’s trailer.

  This is not

the way to deal with this kind of thing.
Sorry but I am not fearing the movie theater, or telling my kids it´s unsafe (as one network I came upon said we now have to explain to them about), or other bullshit. It´s a terrible, isolated incident and my heart goes out to the victims and their families, but I for one will not censor my life for something like this.
