Ford Escape Owners Told Not to Drive Vehicles

Ford Motor told customers who bought the 2013 model Ford Escape not to drive their car due to a risk of an engine fire.

The automaker recalled more than 11,000 2013 Ford Escape vehicles with 1.6-liter engines. Other models are not affected.

Drivers are urged to hand over their car to a Ford dealer. There have been several reports of fires, Ford says.
