Microsoft Posts First Loss Ever

 

Microsoft has posted its first quarterly loss since it became a public company 26 years ago.

The computing giant says the loss stems from the company┬┤s acquisition of the online ad service aQuantive in 2007.

Microsoft booked a $492 million loss in the fiscal fourth quarter. Revenue was up 4 percent to $18.06 billion.
