PBS Fires Fred Willard After Lewd Sex Act Arrest
 

Fred Willard, 72 insists that "it was a big misunderstanding" when he was arrested last night at the Tiki Theater in Hollywood. Police allegedly found him "alone and engaging in a lewd act".

PBS fired the actor saying "Given the unfortunate news reported today, effective immediately, Fred Willard no longer will be involved with the Market Warriors series."

Willard is best known as a dog-show announcer in the film "Best in Show".
