New York Knicks´ Jason Kidd Charged With DUI

Jason Kidd, who signed a 3-year, $9.5 million contract with the Knicks Thursday, has been charged with driving under the influence after crashing his 2010 Cadillac Escalade in the Hamptons early Sunday.

The 39-year-old was the only passenger when he drove into a telephone pole.

He was treated for minor injuries at a hospital and was released before being arraigned on misdemeanor charges.
