A teenager from Florida who consumed several hallucinogenic mushrooms with friends shot himself in the forehead because he believed he was having a nightmare.
After shooting himself with a .22-caliber rifle he found in his parent´s bedroom, he tried to clean up the blood and bandaged the wound up. Outside his home, he encountered someone who drove him to the hospital.
The teenager told police that he didn´t want to commit suicide but instead was "happy and loved his life". "I just wanted to wake up from the bad nightmare," he explained.
