Tennis: Roger Federer Wins His 7th Wimbledon Title

Roger Federer extended his record of major titles to 17 Sunday as he defeated British hope Andy Murray 4-6, 7-5, 6-3, 6-4 in the Wimbledon final.

"I never stopped believing and I started playing more even though I have a family. I have great momentum, great confidence, and it all came together. It’s just a magical moment for me," the 30-year-old Swiss said after the match.

Federer returns to No. 1 on Monday when the ATP rankings will be updated.
