Apple Planning Smaller iPad
 

Apple is building a miniature version of the iPad with a screen of around 8 inches or less. The current iPad measures 9.7 inches.

The book-size Apple tablet comes as Google launched its 7-inch Nexus 7 last week. The source also said that production of the smaller tablet will start in September.

A spokeswoman for California-based Apple declined to comment on the news.

These "small" and ´smaller´ electronic devices don´t interest me in the least. Idiots pass around their iPhones and show me pictures that are so small and crappy that I can´t make them out WITH my glasses. I despise miniaturization. I will never buy Windows 8 because it caters to these crappy devices and looks like them.
