Katie Holmes, 33 might have surprised husband Tom Cruise when she filed for divorce last week, but in an interview she gave Elle magazine back in May she already hinted at a change in her life. She was asked how she feels in her 30s.
"I definitely feel much more comfortable in my own skin. I feel sexier. I think in my 20s, it´s like you´re trying too hard to figure everything out. ... I´m starting to come into my own. It´s like a new phase," she said.
When she was asked to describe her husband, she answered "He has been Tom Cruise for 30 years. I know who I am and where I am and where I want to go, so I want to focus on that." The Elle August issue with Katie´s interview hits newsstands July 17.
