Portland Police Release Sketch of Suspect in Shooting of Same-Sex Teenage Couple

 

Police in Portland, Texas have released a sketch of a man believed to have shot two girls, Mollie Olgin, 19 and her girlfriend Mary Chapa, 18 in Violet Andrews Park June 22.

Olgin was found dead at the scene and Chapa remains in a hospital after being shot in the head. The two had been in a relationship but it´s not clear if this was a motive for the shooting.

The sketch is based on the description by a witness. The suspect is believed to be in his 20s, about 5´8 tall and weighing 140 pounds. If you recognize the person in the sketch, call the police at 361-777-4444.
