Wimbledon: Serena Williams Makes Last 16

Serena Williams beat Zheng Jie 6-7 (5), 6-2, 9-7 Saturday to reach the fourth round of the Grand Slam. The American hit a record 23 aces and held every service game.

Ana Ivanovic, who won the French Open title in 2008, defeated Julia Goerges of Germany 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 and also advances to the round of the last 16.

Italian Francesca Schiavone and Czech Petra Kivitova also reached the fourth round in Wimbledon.
