United Airlines Moves Operations Center to Former Sears Tower in Chicago

United moved its operations center to the Willis Tower, former Sears Tower, in Chicago recently and gave the media a tour of the center, which became fully operational at the end of March.

About 60 percent of the people working at the new center were relocated from United´s former Elk Grove operations center in Illinois and 40 percent from Continental´s center in Houston.

United Continental Holdings became the world’s largest air carrier when United merged with Continental.
