Jack Osbourne Has Multiple Sklerosis

Just two weeks after Jack Osbourne and his wife welcomed daughter Pearl Clementine, the TV star was told that he has multiple sklerosis. Osbourne noticed that something was wrong when he lost 60 per cent of the sight in his right eye.

“I got really sad for about two days, and after that I realized being angry and upset is not going to do anything at this point — if anything it’s only going to make it worse. Adapt and overcome’ is my new motto," the son of Ozzy Osbourne says.

Multiple sklerosis is a disease that affects the central nervous system. In extreme cases it can cause serious disabilities, such as paralysis.

  I feel..

Bad for him and his family about this news as I have to deal with mental issues in my family that will never be recoverable or even partially treatable.
It is devistating and very disheartening.

  MS

I too have MS, although I have never had problems with my vision, I am disabled because of it. It´s a terrible disease that affects everyone differently. It always saddens me to hear of another victim of this disease. I hope he starts some sort of DMD.

  Gluten Sensitivity

I had heard that consumption of high gluten grains is related to increased MS symptoms. Also Nutrasweet can aggravate MS symptoms.

  Dairy

Many MS suffers are allergic to dairy, and the proteins in dairy are similar myelin. So it could setup antigen sensitivity to the nerve sheath.
