Rodney King, the man at the center of the Los Angeles riots is dead at the age of 43. Mr. King was found at the bottom of his pool by his fiancée.
Back in 1992 a then 25-year-old Rodney King was intoxicated and led Los Angeles police on a car chase, when caught, officers hit Rodney more then 50 times with their batons while kicking him and also shooting him with stun gun.
When it all was over Rodney had 11 skull fractures, a broken eye socket and facial nerve damage. The aftermath of the riots, after a jury acquitted the officers, caused $1 billion in damages.
