Injured "Transformers" Extra Awarded $18.5 Million

An Illinois judge has approved an $18.5 million settlement to be paid to Gabriela Cedillo, an aspiring actress who was hurt during the 2010 shot of "Transformers 3".

A cable pulling a stunt vehicle snapped and crashed through her window while filming.

The 26-year-old suffers from permanent brain damage. She underwent several surgeries since the shot.

She´s an extra on a set of a movie, there wouldn´t be a stunt person for her. Stunt people are for the main performers in the movie.
