An Italian study found a correlation between homosexual men and their mothers and maternal aunts, who have signifcantly more children compared to the maternal relatives of heterosexual men.
So-called "gay genes" haven´t been identified but at least one gene on the x-chromosome could lead to homosexuality in men and high reproduction among their female relatives, Italian researchers believe.
In the study, both mothers and maternal aunts of gay men had an increased fecundity, fewer complicated pregnancies and less interest in romantic love and social life.
