Jerry Lewis Rushed to Hospital After Collapse

Jerry Lewis, 86 was hospitalized with low blood sugar after collapsing at the Waldorf Astoria hotel in New York Tuesday night.

The legendary comedian was due to be honored with the Applause Award and to present actor Tom Cruise with the Friars Club Entertainment Icon Award.

"I am sorry Jerry couldn´t be here tonight, but I know he is going to be fine," Tom Cruise said at the gala.
