Man Says Dog Set Apartment Fire

A Pennsylvania man who has been jailed on charges that he burned down his apartment said his dog was the one causing the fire.

Joseph Saparo, 58 told police his dog "may have started the fire by knocking over one of the fans". Investigators say they don´t buy the story.

The man was charged with reckless endangerment, making false reports to law enforcement authorities and arson.
