A Pablo Picasso lithograph worth $30,000 that was stolen from a Novato mansion owned by former Ukranian Prime Minister Pavlo Lazarenko was recovered Sunday.
It has been reported that the artwork was leaning up against a fence near an open-space trail in California. "It appears the unknown suspect(s), placed the painting there and intended it to be found," believes Police Sgt. Eric Riddell.
The print was reported missing one day after more than 100 teenagers partied at Lazarenko´s mansion. Other valuable items, including silver candlesticks and laptop computers, had also been stolen that night.
