German police provided a photo of the English-speaking teenager who claims he had been living in a forest for 5 years with his father. Authorities say the boy emerged in Berlin on September 5 and wasn´t able to give his name or hometown.
He said he had buried his father "in a hole in the forest underneath some stones". Police, however haven´t found a corresponding body. His mother allegedly died in a car crash when he was 12.
German authorities released the photograph in the hope that someone recognizes him. He is estimated to be between 16 and 20 and had with him a tent, sleeping bag, a backpack and clean clothes.
