Casey Anthony Files Appeal Against Four Counts of Lying to Law Enforcement

Casey Anthony, 26, the Florida mother, who was acquitted of killing her 2-year-old daughter, filed an appeal to dismiss the charges she faces for lying to law enforcement.

The appeal claims Anthony hadn´t been read her rights, including the right to remain silent, by any of the investigators before she gave statements to law enforcement officers.

Anthony is currently serving a one-year probation on check fraud charges.
