Chrysler Posts Best Quarterly Profit in Years

Michigan-based automaker Chrysler reported its third consecutive quarterly profit and logged its best financial performance in 13 years.

The company posted a net income of $473 million. It´s its best quarterly profit since its bankruptcy in 2009.

"We continue to deliver on the targets in our five-year plan and are now focused on successfully launching the Dodge Dart, a car that is a true melding of Chrysler’s and Fiat’s engineering and styling strengths," its CEO Sergio Marchionne said.
