Apple Inc. has announced plans to invest $304 million in a new campus in Austin, Texas that will employ 3,600 workers. "Investments like this further Texas´ potential to become the nation´s next high-tech hub," Texas governor said.
Cupertino, California-based Apple is getting a $21 million incentive from Texas Enterprise Fund.
The company also revealed that the move is part of a expansion from 1,000 employees in 2004 to more than 3,500 today.
