Man Uses Knife to Cut Exit in Patio Wall to Escape a Bar Tab

 

Boulder, Colo.: Police were called to Centro Restaurant in Boulder concerning a man with a knife menacing bar staff and cutting a hole from the plastic wall of a patio in order to avoid his tab.

Robert Webber Engles, 42 was trying to escape his bar bill. When confronted by staff he pulled a knife and tried to chop his way through the rear patio wall.
The plastic wall only covered a tall metal fence which he tried to scale.

Staff restrained him until police arrived.
Engles was charged with suspicion of defauding an inn keeper of the bar tab of $33.
