Model Walks Into Airplane Propeller, Loses Hand
 

Laura Scruggs, 23, model and editor of an online fashion magazine, lost her left hand and suffered severe injuries to her face and shoulder after she accidentally walked into a spinning airplane propeller at an airport in McKinney, Texas.

She underwent emergency surgery and is now in stable condition.

"We are currently praying for healing on the left eye and brain," her family wrote on their website.
