Too Much Sitting Linked to Cancer

A new study by the American Institute for Cancer Research (AICR) found that physical inactivity might increase our risk of breast and colon cancer.

"The more physical activity you do, the lower your risk of these cancers," researchers suggest. Therefore, these types of cancer can be prevented if people get up and move.

American Cancer Society epidemiologist Alpa Patel says moderate exercise, such as aerobic, as well as avoiding prolonged periods of sitting is important to stay healthy.

Perhaps there is just a commonality in these cancer studies. It seems to be that people that sit on their asses more ingest more junk food. Junk food has been posed as a possible cause/additional factor of other cancers.

lol, don´t get it twisted, not all wheelchair bound people spend their lives in the chair. Only those who have given up on life or have extremely lazy parents/caretakers are stuck in the chair.

No I´m not disabled, but I know many who are and they do more than many able-bodied people I know. Stuff that in your high-browd attitude and smoke them shits son ;p
