Twitter to Buy TweetDeck for $40 Million

San Francisco-based micro-blogging site Twitter said it bought the application TweetDeck, which was designed for displaying and tracking tweets.

The papers allegedly were signed Monday. Neither of the parties has commented on the deal yet.

"For all those who might be curious, we continue to not comment on rumors," Twitter´s PR department wrote on Twitter.
