11-Year-Old Steals, Flips Parents´ Car

An 11-year-old girl was issued her first traffic tickets after stealing her parents´ SUV and flipping it miles away. She first drove to a convenience store where she hit a gas pump, then she proceeded to a nearby road where she managed to flip the SUV.

The car was stolen around 3 a.m., while the parents were sleeping, and was found around 7:30 a.m. on its side in a ditch. The girl and her 7-year-old sister both sustained scrapes and bruises but no broken bones or other serious injuries.

The young girl was cited for reckless driving and driving without a license. The total damage to the vehicle was about $10,000.

To be honest, this was a very good first submission. It included all the details needed to understand the story and it was clear and well formulated. This is clearly more effort than what some people put into their first submissions and I look forward to reading more of your work.

  I

think the girl was trusted enough by her parents, believing she never drives the family car in secret.

  So now...

the precious snowflakes parents will probably turn around and sue everybody from the SUV´s maker, the convenience store, the gas pump maker and even the oil company. What a society we live in...

You should be on the staff at Fox News. A world view like that has to be what´s called "conservative."

I agree that this is a good first post, and the first comment shows the poster understands brevity. The same can´t be said for a lot of commenters.

I used to always be shocked when watching US movies at how young people are when they start driving there.

They get younger everyday. HA HA
