Lottery Winners Get $190 Million

Jim and Carolyn McCullar were handed over $190 million on Thursday after they won the lottery. The jackpot was $380 million. The other winner is from Idaho, but hasn´t been identified yet.

The store manager of the Safeway store in Ephrata which sold the winning ticket said: "It´s great for the community. It´s nice that Safeway can be a part of helping somebody make some dreams come true for them."

The jackpot was the second-highest in the history of drawings. The only one which was higher was a $390 million jackpot in 2007.

  Idiot tax?

Do you know of any other tax that offers a possible 16,000,000,000% refund? Sure your chance are small but even those odds are infinitely larger than they are for receiving a 16,000,000,000% refund on any other tax. There are two people out there you would have a hard time convincing that they were idiots to spend a buck on their tickets....make that three, I had a 300% refund.
