Archaeologists have announced the discovery of the first house in Nazareth that dates back to the time when Jesus was thought to have lived. The house was found not far from the Basilica of the Annunciation.
Yardena Alexandre, the excavations director at the Israel Antiquities Authority, said: "This may well have been a place that Jesus and his contemporaries were familiar with. It's a logical suggestion," that Jesus played around the house as a boy.
The house was discovered last summer, though the dating back to the Jesus-era occurred only last month.
