400 people have been put on a medical trial in the ear, nose, and throat ward in Southport hospital in Liverpool. The drugs administered through injection have so far shown encouraging results, according to Mr Al-Jassim and his specialist.
Snoring has been the one of the main causes of sleep deprivation, which can be a devastating predicament for both partners, along with many health concerns along with being a trigger for tension between couples.
Mr Al-Jassim used a sclerosing agent, which has been widely used in the UK for varicose veins. The substance appears to control snoring by having an effect on the supple tissue at the rear of the mouth, stopping it from vibrating.
