Canada: For the eighth time in two years a severed foot has washed ashore on the west coast of North America. The latest foot, which washed up on a beach in Vancouver, came enclosed in a white Nike running shoe - size 8.5.
Of the feet that have washed ashore only one has been identified. It is unclear who the other feet belonged to or where they came from as a shoe can protect a foot for a long period of time in the water.
"There has been no evidence to date to support foul play in relation to these discoveries and it appears that all remains separated from the body, disarticulated, through a natural process," said police.
