Honda Engineers Flying High

Honda announced today its plans to start taking orders this year for the new HondaJet, Honda's innovative new engineering breakthrough. Constructed entirely of man-made materials, the prototype achieved flight speeds of 480mph at 43,000 feet.

The innovative new design is an engineering breakthrough with the engines mounted above the wings; this allows the maximum amount of cabin space and better fuel efficiency, among other advantages.

Honda's entrance into the aviation field has been almost 4 decades in the making.
Michimasa Fujino, who has spearheaded the project, says the new jet will uphold Honda's tradition by offering "outstanding quality."
