Uk Responds to Petition Seeking to Ban Donald Trump

The British government has responded to a petition calling for Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump to be barred from entering the UK.

The government said that although the Home Secretary can ban someone from the United Kingdom if their presence is "non-conducive to the public good", it won´t comment on individual cases.

The petition, which says Trump´s proposal to ban Muslims from entering the U.S. is "divisive, unhelpful and wrong", was launched shortly after the billionaire announced his candidacy. It has racked up more than 560,000 signatures to date.
